[link] This image was taken last October near Webster's Falls in Hamilton, Ontario, at the peak of the fall colours. Most photographers were focused on capturing a piece of nature to take home, but Andra-Beatrice Stefanescu (MA 2012) intended on a slightly different kind of composition.
Just as Stefanescu was about to add another scenic view of the Falls to her photo album, she noticed a group of visitors doing the exact same thing – and decided to take a photo of them instead. "I thought it would be interesting to add a layer of peculiarity to the image," says Stefanescu, a travel photographer. "They were photographing nature, and I was photographing them in the act."
